Dr. Raymond Rojas is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and is the latest addition to the team at Oak Park Eye Center. In addition to specializing in cataract and lens implant surgery, Dr. Rojas enjoys practicing the full spectrum of comprehensive ophthalmology, including diabetic eye care, glaucoma treatment, laser procedures, pterygium, minor eyelid surgery, and comprehensive eye exams.

Dr. Rojas received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. He completed both his internship in internal medicine and his residency in ophthalmology at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Following residency, he worked in private practice in Biloxi, MS before returning home to the Chicago suburbs and joining the staff at Oak Park Eye Center.   

Dr Rojas has extensive experience dealing with complex ocular pathology as well as providing compassionate eye care at a personal level. He strives to treat each and every patient as if they were family. A native of Wheaton, IL, Dr Rojas is an avid Bears fan, enjoys golfing, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife Sarah and their rescue dog, Preston.
